On August 26, 2026, Yagura presented as one of three alumni companies at the Demo Day for the 31st Batch of the Seed Accelerator Program, operated by Open Network Lab (Onlab), held at Shibuya Dragon Gate. Around 150 investors and business representatives attended the venue, where CEO Mukai pitched "Yagura AI SOC," an AI agent specialized in security operations.
As cyberattacks accelerate through generative AI and frontier AI, the defense side must also leverage AI. During the pitch, we introduced how Yagura AI SOC works—where AI analyzes and judges cyberattacks to accelerate everything from detecting threats that require real response to the initial containment—and its implementation in the operations of Japanese enterprises.
Mukai is a serial entrepreneur who sold a video cloud business founded during his student years to J-Stream Inc. and served as the representative director of its subsidiary before founding Yagura. After participating in the Onlab program, Yagura now provides security AI agents for regulated industries, including financial institutions and defense supply chains.
